Mishap Records is an independent music label based in Boise, Idaho, representing a diverse roster of artists from the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Founded in 2017 by Shadrach Tuck and collaborators, Mishap officially launched in 2021 as a subsidiary of Earth Libraries and currently operates as a sister label.
Mishap was established with the mission of fostering creative completion and facilitating the release of music and visual art. The label offers comprehensive art direction for artists dedicated to refining their craft, with a focus on experimental music genres, including art rock, post-rock, noise rock, avant-garde jazz, and metal. In addition to music releases, the label produces videos and merchandise, with a focus on expanding the boundaries of contemporary art and sound both locally and in the wider music community at large.
